75th Water Well Project Completed!
The water ministry program with Living Water International reached a significant milestone completing its 75th water well project in Burkina Faso since January 2010. A rare halo around the sun appeared overhead as we worked on the well, as if it were a sign from above. If you take into account that each well directly impacts the lives of 400 people with their daily water needs, then 75 well rehabilitations has blessed the lives of 30,000 people with clean water. And, those same people have learned of Jesus as the Living Water who alone satisfies the deepest thirst! Our goal by the end of 2012 is to complete another 25 well projects for a total of 100 wells impacting the lives of 40,000 Dagara. Pray that we may honor God and bring Him glory in all that we do!

New Teammates Arrived, The Sands Family!
The Dagara Team in Dano is excited to announce the arrival of a new family on the field…the Sands. Chris and Jennifer, along with their 4 boys (Nathan, Benjamin, John Wesley, and Crosby) arrived safely in Burkina Faso after more than two years of preparation. They are quickly adjusting, speaking to others, and blessing all of our lives. What a joy their presence will bring, and what an impact they will make. Praise God with us for them, and ask His protection over them as they begin their mission!

Birth of the Church in Kobar, 202 Baptisms!
In 2011 we completed two water well rehabilitations in the village of Kobar. Normally, the church precedes our water ministry as we target villages where we already have a church presence, but in this case the wells came first. Now, almost a year later, neighboring churches evangelized and planted the church in Kobar. Chris and I were there to witness their beginning as 138 believers were baptized into Christ. On that same day, in another village, Mebar, 64 more believers were baptized as well. Praise God for the continuing growth of the church among the Dagara as more and more villages are coming to know Christ!
